The production of soap, is of the oldest activities, was made with animal fat boiled with ash.
Later they began to use olive oil, adding ash or caustic soda. This process is improved over time.
One of the oldest was made with olive oil and Bay berries, but in their absence they used only olive oil, In the Middle Ages were often used as a medical prescription These had a higher quality than those produced only with animal fat.
The production of soap was for many centuries, an artisanal process that used the local raw material.
After the industrial revolution, access to industrialized cleaning products gained strength, by the easily produced quantity and price, so traditional saboaria lost strength.
Over the years, people have begun to become more aware of the amount of products consumed, plastics, chemicals … with the sustainability of our Planet, opening up the return of handmade products, produced with natural ingredients that respect our planet as a whole, from animals to plants, to ourselves!
PRODUCTION PROCESS OF OUR SOAPS
We use quality raw materials whenever possible of organic origin and local producers.
Soap/Soap is a saponification reaction product (Manufacturing process consisting of basic hydrolysis of lipids (vegetable oils or fats) by adding a strong base (sodium hydroxide or potassium hydroxide)).
In Magic Habits, the technique used is cold saponification, as it is not subjected to high temperatures, preserves the properties, thus conferring unique characteristics and superior quality. The soap can be used only 4 to 5 weeks after its production, height at the end of its healing process.
